Earlier this year Dave was approached by Hifidelity Entertainment to design and produce a silkscreen poster for Santana’s Universal Tone Tour. Carlos wanted the imagery to capture the essence of the concept, which is musical and spiritual in nature. After the first meeting, it was clear this was going to be a fun project!
This print was meticulously printed by Dave with expert support by LuLu, Scott Johnson and Frank Zio over a four day run at Hangar18 in Oakland, Ca. An edition of 600 was delivered to Santana to sell on tour, and Dave printed a few small editions of artist variants on different substrates.
