18 x 22.75 – 5 color silkscreen with metallic blue – S/N edition of 200 – I had read that Andrew from MGMT had compared tracks off Congratulations to surfing in the Arctic Circle. I used that as a starting point and sort of built my own Hokosai wave image. The yetti wears a shark’s tooth necklace and the headband of Daniel LaRusso.
17.75 x 23.4 – 3 color silkscreen – S/N edition of 200 – Jack’s new album, To The Sea, and his contributions to the Curious George soundtrack (a favorite of my daughter) inspired this. I looked at children’s playscapes and wanted to take one of the anchored boats normally seen in gravel or sand and set it off at sea.
