God save the Kinks screenprint by Hand Drawn Creative AKA Neal McCullough

Neal McCullough, an Illustrator based in Northern Ireland and he recently released a short run of this typographic design on 22ogsm cream Fabriano stock.

"God Save the Kinks" was the promotional slogan used to promote the Kinks' cult album "The Kinks are the Village Green Preservation Society" in the USA.

Neal designed the slogan here using Herb Lubalin's supremely flexible Avant Garde typeface, whilst detailing Ray Davies' complete lyrics from the song 'Village Green Preservation Society' in Trade Gothic below. All these details are framed in a lush 'ketchup' red rounded rectangle which will leap off your lounge wall.

He produced only fifteen of these 500 x 700mm (19.7 x 27.5") prints, hand-printed (by myself) on 220gsm cream Fabriano stock. Each print is numbered and signed.
