Shepard Fairey Obey Giant Serato Pressing 2XLP


This is the latest release in the Serato Pressings Artist Series by Shepard Fairey. Shipping on or around May 15th.

Shepard Fairey was born in Charleston, SC in 1970. While studying at Rhode Island School of Design he created the "Andre the Giant has a Posse" sticker that developed into the Obey Giant art campaign with imagery that has changed the way people see art and the urban landscape. His work has evolved into an acclaimed body of art which includes the 2008 "Hope" portrait of Barack Obama which can now be found in the Smithsonian's National Portrait gallery.

This limited edition double 12" Artist Series Pressing release celebrates Shepard's long time love of the record culture.

  1. why in th f@@k do we need to here that story every time we see Shep's name! Can't you come up with something more interexting then where he was born like who is the people in Obery or do you know? No that's what I thought ashole!
