Tim Doyle’s “In The Garage” prints now available on Nakatomi!

Tim Doyle was asked to participate in the Blank Space Ltd Gallery’s ‘In the Garage’ art show that debuted last month in Connecticut. I debuted these prints EXCLUSIVELY HERE
The theme was ‘nerd art’, and nothing says more nerdy than Magritte’s surrealist icons mixed with 8-bit glory! (At least to Doyle, it doesn’t…)
Blank Space released their copies of the prints last month, and now Nakatomi has the artist copies available, along with an exclusive variant in a super-small edition.
Above is pictured ‘That Damned Dog’ and  ’1000 points’.  Both prints measure 16×20 and are signed and numbered by Doyle in editions of 75 each.

These prints were produced through screen-printed CMYK process, which allows you to get a more ‘painterly’ look out of screen printing. What you’ve got is a bunch of tiny little dots made up of CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) that create the illusion of a full color range!  The ’1000 Points’ print has a 5th layer added of red so that the apple POPS.  This is the first time that Doyle has done this, and special thanks to the CMYK separation skills of Nakatomi printer Zane Thomas!
They also have a super-small edition of 13 of both prints on super nice Curious Metallic Ice Silver paper, that gives the art a pearlescent look!

These prints will be available on FRIDAY right HERE in the art prints section of the Nakatomi store!
