Well now the Drafthouse and Mondotees are back with Mystery Movie #2, and as with the first film, tickets for this unknown film and poster sold out within a minute. And while while we wish we could teleport everyone to this very special screening, we can do the next best thing: tell you what it is and show you the poster.

This is the first in Mondo's new series of licensed Jurassic Park posters. That's right, Jurassic Park is joining the likes of Star Wars and Star Trek as one of the shop's most cherished art series and this striking poster by Aaron Horkey is the first in this new line.

New Artist to check out Grafeeney

Grafeeney is a UK based street artist that does incredible work. Someone turned me on to him recently I dont remember who it was but I'm glad they did. If the person who reads just remind me who you are.

Graffiti Artist & Designer John Feeney AKA Grafeeney has been a spray artist now for over ten years. Totally inspired by horror B movies, toys & comics. His comic book work is in such titles as Starship Troopers & the Flash Gordon comic series.

Hit latest pieces are titled Hoodz. They are spraypaint on canvas 16x20in using Ironlak on a 16x20in by half inch deep canvas.

Rat Poison is a new print Angry Blue did last week. The background is made up of prohibition-era alcohol tax stamps and alcohol prescriptions with federal markings on them issued by doctors. The split fountain/gradient varies throughout the run as he had to adjust the spread of the ink the whole run.

The Machines Are Winning - A Tribute to Sidney Lumet Films Art Show

Jay Shaw and John Vogel invited 17 artists to each create a poster paying homage to the late great filmmaker. The show will take place at The Laundry on Lawrence (2701 Lawerence Street) at 7pm on Friday, September 9th. Posters will be available at the show for viewing and purchase and whatever is left after Friday will be sale online on Saturday, September 10th at www.kingdomofnonsense.bigcartel.com

Jay Shaw created the show poster and the Serpico posters above. The show poster is an 18x24 digital print. Each artist in the show will get a copy and the remaining copies (10 or so) will be available at the show and online afterward (if any are left) for $15.

Serpico is an 18x24 5 color screen print (4 color process print with a blood splatter overlay layer). A few copies of the poster will be available for sale at the show but it will not be available online. The rest are for his subscribers only.

Zerofriends will be selling Alex Pardee's killer Edgar Wright triple feature movie poster featuring Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, Hot Fuzz & Shaun Of The Dead!. 1200 people were at the showing the other day and for some reason not all 400 were bought, yeah I know it's crazy.
