Here it is Jermaine Rogers Nine Inch Nails & Soundgarden Poster Sale details.

NIN / Soundgarden (Texas 2014) -
Measuring approx. 30x20 inches, this piece is printed on gallery cream stock and showcases semi-metallic inks and a lovely gradient fade. The ambiguity of the imagery is striking.

Jermaine comments:
'There definitely is a feeling of grief and vulnerability radiating from this artwork, but also power and a dynamic amount of control. You can get roped into things, and go on for some time in circumstances that are manipulative, unhealthy, or just unhappy. There is the idea that, in a variety of ways, the option to 'disconnect' is always there for anyone to choose.'

Assassin's Creed & Soundgarden Posters by AngryBlue Release Details

Assassin's Creed
Inspired by Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed Unity", New Science produced an animated short film which debuted at Comic-Con 2014 before a sold-out crowd. Set in the French Revolution, the story was reimagined by musician / director Rob Zombie and featured the illustrative works of Tony Moore, co-creator of The Walking Dead. "Finishing work by Angryblue" isn't really descriptive. He inked all of this stuff. Together, they crafted a film which highlights the chaos and brutality of the French Revolution, painting the streets of Paris red with blood.

500 limited edition silk-screened posters that were distributed at the "Assassin's Creed Unity Experience" outdoor obstacle course at Comic-Con. The poster features Unity's hero "Arno" in front of a stained-glass window peppered with images from the animated short. Each poster was numbered and signed by the artists.

The print is limited to a run of 775 total. 500 were given away at San Diego Comic Con 2014 to the first people to arrive at the Assassin's Creed obstacle course in front of the Convention Center. Tony and Angryblue each have 100 prints to share with you. EDIT: Angryblue will gave 60 of the 100 available. FedEx damaged his prints in-transit, nice job donkeys. He might do some sketches on some of these in the future.

These 18x24 3-color posters are signed by BOTH artists and have a clear gloss hit that lays on top of the black and metallic red wrapped up in a white paper.

Angryblue also did the Soundgarden Wheatland Poster from last night and will have those one sale well.

He will also have a couple of new prints on sale as well.

Emek Nine Inch Nails Soundgarden Portland Seattle Poster

Well the the final dates of the Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden tour is getting the best poster and of course Emek did it. This piece of utter rock poster perfection is for the Portland and Seattle dates August 29 & 30th.

The poster is a 22 x 34 inch silk screen and Emek has titled it "Head like a Black Hole Sun"

Here is what Emek had to say on the design:

Midnight notes from on the spectrum
People ask me how I come up with my ideas
Most of them come to me in my dreams like this piece did...
Right before I went to sleep I was listening to some old nine inch nails and old Soundgarden...
Then I woke up in the middle of the night with these thoughts and vision.
Sartre said hell is other people
Yet we are alone.
Dante said there were nine concentric planes of hell
9×4 = 36 skeletons pictured... 36 is 3&6 is 9...nine inch nails
I wanted to draw something representing coming to peace with pieces of our own inner demons, thoughts and mortality.

Monumental yet Futile
Babel's Tower of contemplative ghosts
Elevated into the ether
Like so many lost thoughts
Hermetically sealed into memories
from future dreams now lost
Plumbing circuitry parasiting on the remains of a mind palace
Solace
Saw less
So less
Soul less
Solo
So low.
So.. Go.

 ------
Now my own personal plea for help hahha
Someone get me one please I have much to trade, please and thank you

Maximilian Wiedemann Razor Gun Print

Maximilian Wiedemann returns to 1xRUN Wednesday with a rather shall I say pointed piece of work that has quite the edge to it. The print is titled Razor Gun and it's a 5 color screen print.

Looking at the current media coverage and shocking violence that has spread around the world, I felt it was time to release and anti gun/crime piece. In the wider sense and anti violence statement. Don't pull the trigger! As you see in the detail, the trigger is the razor, making it impossible or painful to shoot. It's a fine little detail in the gun that turns the meaning of weapons around. All you need is love.

This design and coloring has exclusively been done for 1XRUN. This Idea has been shown first in New York in 2011 in the Vanity Unfair Show - I felt it has more relevance than ever these days." - Maximilian Wiedemann

On sale Wednesday at NOON EDT at 1xRUN.com

John Vogl St Louis Print Benefit

Details from John Vogl on his new print St. Louis to Benefit Students in Ferguson:

As some of you know, I live and work in Denver, CO, but, was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, and lived there until just a few years ago. I received my start as a poster artist in St. Louis, from a very supportive and encouraging creative community. I still have family, friends, and loved ones who live there, and proudly call St. Louis home. I'm sure you are familiar with the recent turmoil that has shaken Ferguson, and the Greater St. Louis Area. As a place that is so familiar to me, I have found myself physically uncomfortable and emotionally unsettled hearing of the events happening there. I can read, talk, and share endlessly about it, but, I want to try and do something more-tangible to help.

I did an art print of St. Louis a few years ago, the small edition is long-since gone. I will be re-releasing this 16x20, 2 color screen print, in a timed edition, starting today, for $25. For one week, I will accept orders, and print them immediately after that. All prints will be signed and numbered, with 100% of the profits going to the Ferguson-Florrisant School District, which resumes classes today.

You may purchase the print here, more details about the actual print are in the listing in my store.

Tim Anderson Red Life Halo RvB Print Release

Today marks the fifth release from Rooster Teeth in their Red Vs Blue series: Tim Anderson’s “Red Life”. Brian who runs Rooster Teeth first discovered Tim when his pulp-book-cover movie posters went viral a couple of years ago. His work as a video game concept artist translated into really detailed and textured illustration work. Since then he’s been expanding out into the screen printing world and doing some pretty amazing work for various art shows and even Lollapalooza. They’re excited to have him as part of the lineup of RvB artists.

Tim had this to say about his design: “One of the defining attributes of Red vs. Blue is its humor, often taking the form of running gags or throwaway lines that take a few moments to sink in. I wanted to allude to a few of those jokes and place them in the context of a magazine cover, combining some text-based gags with the rather ridiculous imagery of a cover model-type photo shoot, to create an homage to the inherent humor of the series.”

4 colors, 18x24 on 100# Cougar White, printed by Lady Lazarus, $59.95

Today’s print will be available at 4:30 PM CDT on www.RoosterTeeth.com

Bask Location Location Location Show Covered

This past Friday night Inner State Gallery welcomed Czech-born artist Ales “Bask” Hostomsky as he returned to Detroit for his first solo exhibition in over 2 years. An entirely new body of work “Location, Location, Location” showcases Bask’s blend of graffiti, punk and DIY styles into his latest exploration of Detroit’s unique textures and vast urban landscape. Known for his massive murals across the globe, over the top gallery installations and tireless work ethic, Bask’s latest solo exhibition is his most ambitious to date. Created over countless late nights and early mornings over the summer Bask has assembled nearly 300 pieces of original artwork for Location, Location, Location.

With his latest hand-painted multiple series “Face Invader” Bask provides his die-hard fans with a collection of 200 12 x12 inch original works of art that embrace the iconic language developed over his 15-year career. “I wanted to do something special for the run that was going to coincide with the show. This has been the most ambitious project that I’ve taken onto date” BASK said from his studio in St. Petersburg Florida.

“The inspiration behind the work I made for this show was Detroit's strengths, struggles, and landscape. I took the opportunity to move to Detroit fourteen years ago, but for a number a reasons beyond my control, my stay lasted only 4 years. However that was long enough for the city to have a profound impact on my work as well as my consciousness towards social and political issues. And even though I haven't called Detroit home in 9 years, the impression it stamped on me is something I hope I never lose. And it was this appreciation for the influence that DETROIT has had on me, that inspired the work I made for the show.” - BASK

Hope you enjoy the pictures to see the rest of the pictures click the Coverage of Gallery Openings Tab at the top of this page. To purchase anything from the show headover to 1xRUN.com

Tristan Eaton Crime Fighter Mural

Tristan Eaton was recently in Detroit painting a mural for Library Street Collective. Crime Fighter features a portrait of his mother from the 60's. It's a tribute to the trouble she put up with from Matt his brother and Tristan growing up. Keep an eye out for limited edition prints of this piece available exclusively through Library Street Collective.

Several months ago Tristan did another mural titled Hot in the D. Sadly the building it was on has now come under the wrecking ball. But you can see it below.
