Yoskay Yamamoto’s Koibito @ LeBasse today

No comments:

Rightfully well-supported, Yoskay Yamamoto’s release of his ‘gallery’ edition Koibito drew in an eager league of fans. Dropping at LeBasse Projects, the vinyl rendition, sculpted by Yamamoto himself, is a co-production with Munky King. Limited to 150, the white version of this artist-multiple follows on the heels of a phenomenally successful solo art show at the same gallery. For a young artist to be viably defying the present sad state of the economy is indeed impressive and shows the promise he holds for future conquest. A very small portion of prints, also offered at the event, were set aside for release on Paper Tiger at 12:30PM PST on 05/28/09. Word is that a new original painting by Yoskay will be available at the gallery for its opening during this weekend’s Culver City Art Walk.

The Who x Converse Chuck Taylor Hi Pack

No comments:

Yeah I know too many shoes today but I love The Who and these are badass. Here we feature two colorways in the classic Chuck Taylor High model. Both are inspired by The Who, an English rock band formed back in 1964. The white version sports The Who logo while the other features their flag. They are now available at www.converse.com as well as other Converse retailers.

AC/DC x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Pack

Here comes a preview from the next Converse music collaboration. Recently we have seen collaborative sneakers with Ozzy Osbourne and Pink Floyd. Now they worked with AC/DC. In this collaboration between AC/DC and Converse the two have put together a lineup of nine sneakers as part of the Converse Fall 2009 Collection. All in all there are six Chuck Taylor All Stars, two Chuck Taylor All Star Lows, and a Star Player 75.

UPDATE
Check the Converse web site to buy them. Also I was looking through Rolling Stone yesterday and www.journeys.com is listed as a retailer for them.
