Darin Shock Old School Print & Debut of AfFOILdables Series
Darin Shock is ready to kick it Old School with a new series called "AfFOILdables" and I'll let Darin tell you about it:
Screen prints on holographic foil paper can be astonishingly beautiful if designed specifically to consider its properties. Unfortunately a lot of foil prints are variants and therefore may not necessarily translate to the medium. Also, the cost of paper, combined with the exclusivity (predominately being variants), has resulted in the market dictating some high costs. I therefore wanted to present a series of foil prints designed specifically for foil paper at an economical cost for the buyer. Certainly not every foil print I release will fall under the AfFOILdable name/concept, but I do intend to occasionally release prints for this series whenever I have time between commissions and other demanding projects.The first release is dropping Wednesday

MOE. Matt Leunig New York Poster Release
Matt Leunig was happy to get the call to do MOE.'s run of 3 big New York City St. Patrick’s Day shows this year. St. Paddy’s is Matt's jam. He wanted to steer clear from a lot of generic Irish & St. Patricks Day imagery… leprechauns, drinking, etc. and try and find something fitting that also feel very New York City.Matt has always loved the fountains NYC has in a number of their squares, especially those that represent the ol’ “green man” sculpture.
The final show poster is a whopping 6-colors, (18’x 24′) print printed by Half & Half and has a print run of 200. He will have a small Artist Edition run of 35 Signed & Numbered for sale on Wednesday March 23rd at 11AM PST. over at http://scrapedknee.com/
