Joey Feldman Emerald City Movie Poster Release

Emerald city is a movie that Irish author/filmaker Collin Broderick https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colin_Broderick  made and is about to be in some film festivals. It has been getting some very nice reviews and he hired Joey Feldman to come up with an image for this movie about Irish construction workers living and working in New York facing their daily ups and downs.

The image pays homage to the famous vintage photo of construction workers taking lunch high above New York skyline.

The very loyal following of this movie had asked Colin if he would do something a little more special then an offset poster before the theatrical release. Colin and Joey spoke and decided on a giclee print. 

Limited to 100 only. The official Emerald City movie poster signed by artist Joey Feldman and director Colin Broderick will go on sale at 1:00pm PDT today Friday.

Jim Evans TAZ Band of Horses Austin Poster World Premiere Exclusive

SCREAMING EAGLE OVER AUSTIN!

Band of Horses will be at Stubb’s legendary Waller Creek Amphitheatre tonight, and will have a limited number of these new posters by Jim Evans / TAZ to commemorate the event.

I’ve listened to Band of Horses forever, and when Paul over at Firebrand Live asked me to do a poster for their Austin slot I couldn’t resist. On this one I tried to eliminate symmetry for pure design, and I’ve been dying to do an eagle in flight. Band of Horse is a band that reminds me of Americana, and the nostalgic freedom of the past with a detour into psychedelia. For me, the music of Band of Horses and a place like Austin is just that, the scream of an eagle about to strike. I wish I were there tonight.

Jeff Troldahl Purple One Print

Jeff Troldahl has reached a goal of printing his own work. He has started off his technique printing by honoring the Purple guy from his home state Minnesota. Jeff had the honor of working with him in the mid 90's when he released his crystal ball album (Jeff was the Art dictator at SamGoody/Musicland). His full page ad went through the channels of approval and into the paper faster than Jeff had ever seen anything move in the music industry to this day.
