JERMAINE APPEARANCE AT VANS
Jermaine is happy to be making a trip back home to Houston, Texas to appear at the brand new VANS Store and Skate Center in Friendswood (a suburb of Houston) this Friday, April 17th. VANS will be giving away a lot of swag and so will Jermaine: 'Whenever I do events like this...whether it's at San Diego Comicon or whatever, I like to exchange gifts with folks. Bring me something cool and I'll give you something cool back. One girl at an appearance I did for VANS in Salt Lake City made me a pretty complex little wallet out of felt, leather and thread and I gave her a 2004 Bowie poster. The wallet rules: it's got a rainbow lightning bolt on it.' Jermaine will also be doing live art on site. It should be fun. If you're in the area and have a bit of free time, stop by:

STAR TREK ?
Yes...Star Trek. Jermaine was one of 25 artists chosen by Paramount Studios to dress up a scale model of the Starship Enterprise from the upcoming Star Trek film. Jermaine represented the AFRO-PUNK crew: Afropunk.com and created a simple, iconic image promoting the Afro-Punk movement. Jermaine's Enterprise will be on tour in promotion of the film with other pieces by artists such as Mr. Brainwash, Amanda Vissell, Jim Lee, and others.
That's it for now. Again, if you're in Houston, Texas come visit Jermaine at the VANS Skate Center at Baybrook Mall this Friday, April 17th from 5:30pm - 9:00pm. Jermaine will be making art and bearing gifts.
