David Welker has been working on his latest poster, this time for Les Claypool.
Davids process on the making of it:
Still working on the blackline layer. Hopefully I'll get to the separations by Tuesday. I'm trying to combine the many different masks that Les is know to wear onstage and also his recurring nautical themes. Also, I think I'm consciously or subconsciously influenced by the oil leak in the Gulf. So the skull is spewing forth some kind of mercurial fluid.
This will be in metallic ink. And of course he has shredded his fingers to the bone.
