Kill a Punk for Rock & Roll Art Print by Marty Perez

Marty Perez is a photographer. Image is from 1982, taken in Seattle Washington, it was a Black Sabbath concert; first tour with Ronnie James Dio. It's been a favorite of his and has gotten a lot of positive feedback from those that have seen the image. In fact the Oblivians took such a liking to the image, that they saw fit to use it as the cover of their "Popular Favorites" release.

It was the Oblivians headlining one of the GonerFest 7 shows this past September that gave Marty pause, to try and do something extra with the image. Already one that appreciated the art rock/poster world, figured this image might be perfect as a silk-screen. Knowing of Dan MacAdams work and his unique way with photographic imagery in the silkscreen process; approached him. Thankfully, he was up for the task and put his heart and know how to work; the final result is outstanding. Dan kept the originals black and white aesthetic plus beautifully added the graphic element with the colored lettering on the t-shirt.

Specifics of the print are: title "Kill a Punk for Rock&Roll", seven-color silkscreen print, 16"x22" on Cougar 100# cover, edition of 200, signed and numbered by the photographer, printed by Crosshair, Chicago.

If you want one contact him directly for payment info: hodag@ameritech.net... It's $50...Plus $7.50 shipping in the US(priority-n-delivery confirmation), $15 for international shipping(standard airmail).
