Johanna Goldstein who along with Scout Shannon are making the Gig Poster movie Just Like Being There are having a fundraiser in Washington DC this Thursday at 5:30pm - September 23 at 2:00am.
They're having their first fundraiser for the film in Johanna's hometown- the first of many! Next will be NY, Chicago, Boston, LA, San Francisco, Austin, and possibly more.
They will announce every fundraiser, so she apologizes in advance if you don't live in any of those cities, and can't attend (if you get people, they will come). If you don't live in DC anymore (or never did), please invite your DC friends. Make sure you go to THE ROOFTOP TERRACE, because that is where they'll be!
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DRINK, EAT and LOOK AT ARTWORK
The Tabaq Bistro has kindly donated their space to us- 5% of drink sales will go toward the film, and they'll have a silent auction for work by artists in the film as well!
