Wow this poster is killer, like all the Soundgarden posters have been so far. I think my eyes melted when I opened the email from Maxx242 telling me about this one. The poster is 18”x24” 4 Color screen print for the 2012 Sydney Soundgarden show. Printed with pearlized inks. Signed and numbered edition of 100 by MAXX242.

Fantasitic poster....Would have been great to have had the actual poster for sale at the Entertainment Centre show in Sydney Australia! Frank Sydney Austeralia
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks beautiful
ReplyDeleteThe show edition is red. Frank are you sure they did not sell out or did they not have any at all. I can speak to someone about it.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI'm sure....I got to the show early. Walked the whole of the ground floor, then the whole of Level 1 of the Entertainment Centre to see what merchandise was on offer, hoping that they would have a poster for the Sydney show. I then did the same between the Bronx set and Soundgarden coming on. No posters on offer - only tees.I don't think the sell out option is a realistic possibility I don't think teher were any on offer at the Sydney Entertainment Centre Show.
Frank - Sydney Australia
Hey Frank I sent a message to the people that took care of the posters for the US tour. I'll let you know what I hear. Are hitting any other dates ?
ReplyDeleteSoundgarden are only doing one show as headline in Sydney, and one in Melbourne. Other than those shows they are part of the Big Day Out Tour across Australia with Kanye, Kasabian, etc. Thanks for any insights from the US Tour poster distributors.
ReplyDeleteOnly Bronx posters on sale in Melbourne. Is it the same as for the Cornell solo tour, where the posters are for VIPs only, and not sold at the show?
ReplyDeleteYes the artists will be selling their posters later
ReplyDeleteSame poster but different colour for Melbourne?
ReplyDeleteI dont think so but I did see that post by Mark but I could not read the text on it. I thought Rhys Cooper was doing it
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the post but there is a poster on ebay that is supposedly from Melbourne that is simply a colour variant.
ReplyDeletePretty sure the Bronx poster was by Rhys Cooper, so might make sense for him to do both.
