Dark Hall Mansion Release of It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown Poster by Michael De Pippo

"You'll see! Next year at this same time, I'll find the pumpkin patch that is real sincere and I'll sit in that pumpkin patch until the Great Pumpkin appears. The Great Pumpkin will appear and I'll be waiting for him! I'll be there! I'll be sitting there in that pumpkin patch... and I'll see the Great Pumpkin. Just wait and see, Charlie Brown. I'll see that Great Pumpkin."

Wait no longer Linus!! Dark Hall Mansion, www.DarkHallMansion.com, is so excited to finally release this year's Officially licensed Peanuts print for everyone's favorite Halloween classic, Charles M. Schulz' "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." On sale next Tuesday, Sept 18, 2012, 9:30 AM PST, so no one 'gets a rock' and all have plenty of time to enjoy artist Michael De Pippo's striking artwork on their walls for the perennial Fall classic that let's everyone know Halloween and the holidays are now truly on their way!

Artist Michael De Pippo, drawing on his use of negative space and minimalist tones, has rendered two completely different and evocative prints for this year's release. The Standard has Charlie in his full Halloween costumed glory reflecting on one of THE most quoted and classic lines of our shared childhood history, "I got a rock." A line promptly transporting most of us back to that special moment when kitchens went quiet, all stopped, and 8PM meant everyone planted themselves before their TVs to catch CBS' airing of the 'Great Pumpkin' or risk having to wait till the following year to see it! All with appropriate Dolly Madison ads thrown in for good measure!!

And along that vibe, see Michael's dynamic Variant print, rendered in a format that immediately recalls those beloved classic TV Guide ads that signaled to every
kid that something THEY waned to see was just round the bend. From it's old school wordmark logo to its stark interpretation of the moment, the moment that, well...

Sally Brown: You blockhead! You kept me up all night waiting for the Great Pumpkin, and all that came was a beagle! I didn't get a chance to go out for tricks or treats. And it was all your fault! I'll sue! What a fool I was! I could have had candy apples and gum and cookies and money and all sorts of things. But no! I had to listen to you, you blockhead. What a fool I was. Trick or treats come only once a year, and I missed it by sitting in a pumpkin patch with a blockhead.
YOU OWE ME RESTITUTION!

Linus: [to Charlie Brown] You've heard of the fury of a woman scorned, haven't you?
Charlie Brown: Yeah, I guess I have.
Linus: Well, that's nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of trick-or-treats.
