Miles Tsang has released his gorgeous Patti Smith poster for the recent show in St Louis which was an intimate performance by proto-punk poet at the Contemporary Art Museum. The client wanted a figurative depiction of Patti Smith whose [stylistic] treatment is matched by classic Fillmore and psychedelia-inspired fonts. Rhythmic curves and arabesques connect these two elements and add ornature, flow, and energy to the final composition. Of course Miles nailed it perfectly.
The poster is 18 x 24 inches created using 4 colors with metallic ink which appears grey in the digital image. It is a signed and numbered edition of 120, Miles has a very small amount to sell since most sold at the show.
