Shirts and Destroy are releasing a great new print by Florian Bertmer today titled The Native.
The drawing itself was inspired by an old photograph of Whirling Horse,who supposedly was a member of Buffalo Bill Cody's entourage.
I was researching old photographs of native americans and I stumbled onto a photo of him and thought it was just perfect.From his weathered face to his gigantic headdress everything looked perfect to me.Don't get me wrong,this print is not supposed to be an accurate portrayal.-FlorianThe print will be available from Shirts & Destroy right HERE:
