4th of July weekend always brings a bunch of great poster from all the concerts and it is my pleasure to show you one of the best this weekend, Miles Tsang's first poster for Queens of the Stone Age. The poster is for tonight's show in Oshawa, Ontario Canada at the General Motors Centre.
The poster is 18"x24" silk screen and has an edition of 205 and it glows in the dark. No variants.
I asked Miles about the poster and it's design:
'The
poster is one part of a multi-panel illustration which uses the QOTSA
songs "Feel Good Hit Of The Summer," and "If I Had A Tail," as jumping
off points, into a scene of Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas-style lizard
lounge debauchery. Careful use of framing and atmosphere enhance the
dark, intimate feel of the scene, as further nods to the artist and band
are peppered throughout the design.'
