Baker Prints The Windy City Chicago Free Friday Poster Giveaway
I have been doing giveaways on the blog for over 4 years now and those of you that have been fans for all these years know I have given away some really good stuff. Today's giveaway ranks in the top 5 of the best ever. I had been talking with Kyle Baker of Baker Prints off and on for a while at Flatstock in Chicago a couple of weeks back and got around to asking him hey would you like to do a giveaway on the blog. He said sure how about The Windy City print of Chicago. Kyle created the print in collaboration with his father Terry Baker, it's a painstakingly-crafted illustration of Chicago icons and architecture being playfully blown away. The effort, from start to finish, was easily the largest art project either of them have ever undertaken. My mouth hit the ground when he offered it and I think I said 3 or 4 times "are you sure ?". The reason I was so surprised, is that he sells these for $220 a piece and this is one serious piece of art.
The Windy City print is a massive 36 x 24 inch 16 color screen print with a signed and numbered edition of 456. It also comes with a legend that let's you know what all the places, people and things are on the print. Click the image above to enlarge it and see all the detail.
Now go to the top of the post above the picture and click on comments or scroll down (depends on how you see this post) to leave a comment what you like about Chicago to have a chance at winning the poster. Don't worry if your comment does not appear immediately I have to approve them before they are published. I will use the Random Number Generator to pick a winner. Entries are limited to ONE PER PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD. Please leave your name with the comment, comments without names will not be accepted. Entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM PDT Saturday August 2 with the winner announced on Sunday.
BIG TIME THANK YOU to Kyle Baker for providing this print for the giveaway this week. Be sure to check out all the other posters and prints he has at BakerPrints.com

I like that in Chicago, over the years of visiting and exploring new music and unique talents the friendly aurora never changes between the people. Whether pieces presented in art, the diversity of fantastic foods offered, or the easy listening that is offered from one to another while they express their love for the work they do. Chicago delivers more than 100% to that. It has definitely shown that in the past and I’m sure it will far into the future.

I've traveled to Chicago twice to go to the same place, Wrigley Field, for two very different reasons. Once to see the Dodgers play the Cubs and then last summer for Pearl Jam's epic adventure of a show. Incredible ballpark and so much history.
