ReplyDeleteJeff Beck, because he continues to reinvent himself. From the Yardbirds to blues with Rod Stewart, then to Jeff Beck Group, Prog Rock with Jan Hammar, Rockabilly, Jazz, ect. He uses the whammy bar to sound as slick as a slide guitarist. As a member of the big three from Britain: Page, Clapton and Beck all members of The Yardbirds at one time, he is the only one to experiment in different styles. To say experiment is wrong because it always works.
