Craig Horky Free Friday Poster Giveaway In Memory Of Prince
As everyone knows we lost another musical genius yesterday in the passing of Prince. He is one of the artists I regret never seeing and really wished I had. He did not follow anyone's rules, he wrote the rules and gave the world more than they will ever know.
I got this Purple Lady print from Craig Horky last year at Flatstock and thought on a day like this it would be great giveaway to one lucky reader. It is a 2 color screen print that measures 18 x 24 inches.
Now go to the top of the post above the picture and click on comments or scroll down (depends on how you see this post) to leave a comment about what your favorite Prince song is. Don't worry if your comment does not appear immediately I have to approve them before they are published. I will use the Random Number Generator to pick a winner. Entries are limited to ONE PER PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD. Please leave your name with the comment, comments without names will not be accepted. Entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM PDT Saturday April 23 and the winner will be announced on Sunday.

My favorite Prince song is Purple Rain. After the terrible terror massacre that happened to my friends on Utøya he said that it would all feel better and we would get trough this. It was a moment that cannot be describe. That pain I felt but at the same time so much relief and happiness. HE made that happened to our country. And he is truly a wonderful person for that!
ReplyDeleteKISS!! I love that song and always makes me groove a little when I hear it!
ReplyDeleteDarling Nikki. Rest easy Purple One....

ReplyDeleteMy favorite prince song is the bro step trap remix of Purple Rain that is being mixing down in some parents basement by a kid skipping school so they can finish their bootleg. HA HA puke.

Darling Nikki. The sexiest song ever. And for the conservative 80's it was mind blowing. As a kid hearing that you knew you were hearing an innovator!

Nothing compares to you... Ok he didn't perform it, but he wrote that bad boy, and it's beautiful.
ReplyDeletePurple Rain was my favorite Prince song, but there are many others I loved. It seems I can't remember time before him, and this one hit me hard. I've been up all night and can't keep the lyrics out of my head and silent tears from falling. There will never be another like him. I always forget to put in my name.
