This poster done by Half Hazard Press is for the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration featuring Warren Haynes and the Chicago Philharmonic Highland Park, IL. Its an 18”x24” 3-color print with an AP edition of 40 going for $50 each.
The artwork for this print was based on the song ’Scarlet Begonias’ and depicts the female character from the song in free fall with a sense of peacefulness to represent the idea of her “slipping away” or being let go by the narrator. The background and framing are inspired by the formats of playing cards to tie in some of the poker references.
