N.C. Winters designed this one in similar color schemes to his previous NIN poster and intentionally made it a companion piece. Wanted to go even even darker than the "Fragile" moth: a beetle with no sight or voice. Nine Inch Nails is one of his favorite bands, and he thought this would lend naturally to some of their rich sounds and motifs of helplessness and apathy. He and NIN fans are very pleased with how it turned out.
