In commemoration of the return of the motorcycles (after a forty-five year hiatus), The Martelli Brothers commissioned Joey to create an new iconic image for the 51st anniversary running of The Great American Off-Road Race™. Feldman’s unique Heavy Metal style has drawn attention from all corners of the globe, making him the perfect collaborator for the project. “Special Breed” is a visual homage not only to the motorcycle racers of the Mint 400’s golden years, but also speaks to Hunter S.Thompson’s famous musings on the Mint from “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”.
