Crosshair was commissioned by the almighty masters of heavy drone metal to create the official poster for their Chicago performances, April 19 and 22 in the soaring Rockefeller Chapel.
SunnO)))'s performances are site-specific, ritually enveloping experiences of the most extreme volume and sensory immersion. Though points of reference exist to precursors like Black Sabbath, Hawkwind and Swans as well as a crowd of contemporary pioneers in heaviosity, SunnO))) stand alone in their sheer drumless enormity.
Dan MacAdam is excited about this one as a representation of a singular and unrepeatable happening; exactly the thing that sets a concert poster apart from other art. SunnO))) Chicago 2019 is a 7-color silkscreen print including two metallic inks, measuring 18 x 24" and produced in a s/n limited edition of 190. The first 100 sold at the shows. The remainder are available exclusively in the Crosshair Shop while they last.
