Alan Campbell has a new print titled "La Peste" , The plague, Based on the 1947 novel by Albert Camus

Since the start of lockdown in March, one book has emerged as an indispensable companion to our strange times: Albert Camus’ classic 1947 novel The plague. The novel charts the progress of an epidemic in the Algerian city of Oran, its arrival heralded by a proliferation of dead rats. Officials dither initially, but eventually the city locks down and its inhabitants either resign themselves to their fate or attempt to fight against it in various ways.
The Design its self is based on Two Algerian stamps from the time period and I combined them to form the city gate with the Oasis or Mirage beyond, the type is based upon the original French first edition. - AC
Screen printed by Half and Half.
Dimensions or 18 x 24 inches.
3 color screen print with Metallic gold ink on Cougar natural 100c paper.
Edition of 55 Signed, numbered and embossed.
