Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars by Matt Ryan Tobin Release

In Ziggy Stardust, David Bowie created a persona that not only served as the main character of his best album, but also summed up his place in rock history. He was positively flashy and literally out of this world. So when he and his band the Spiders from Mars– which included Mick Ronson on guitar – took Ziggy Stardust on the road it was showmanship at its grandest. Then, it was suddenly over. On July 3, 1973 he announced to a stunned crowd in London it would be "the last show that we'll ever do," ending the era of Bowie's alter-ego that changed music forever and sent his career into orbit.

This career and music defining moment on July 3, 1973 is precisely what Iconic by Collectionzz is about, and they couldn't have asked for a better representation of this than what artist Matt Ryan Tobin illustrated! There are three different editions of this art, each is a beautiful seven color screenprint depicting Ziggy in his flowing Kansai Yamamoto kimono revealing a galaxy of stars through its opening.
