Carl Cashman Acid Reflux Print Release
This Friday 12th August sees the launch of brand new art publishing company 'Blind Stamp Editions' (www.blindstampeditions.com). From their base in Brighton, they will be releasing high quality, collectable art editions, predominantly (though not exclusively) from artists in the thriving global street art scene.
About Blind Stamp Editions
The founders of Blind Stamp Editions are James Woodley from Prescription Art, and Simon Vaughan - the art co-ordinator for the notorious after hours Shangri-La field at Glastonbury Festival.
Prescription Art was founded by James in 2008, since when he's been championing new artists - particularly from the street art scene - by exhibiting and publishing print editions. As well as being the go-to area of the festival for a late night party, Shangri-La is also renowned for providing an immersive experience created by an ever evolving roster of International Artists. As artistic co-ordinator the the area, in recent years Simon has brought artists of the calibre of Shepard Fairey, Mark Jenkins, Ludo, Ron English, Paul Insect, Doug Foster, Insa, Shaka, Ricardo Cavolo and many others into the festival.
First Print Release
Their first publication is a beautiful screenprint from Devon-based contemporary / street artist Carl Cashman. Carl takes his influences from op-artists from the 1960s like Bridget Riley and Sol Lewitt, but brings them up to date with vibrant colours & modern motifs... often on a large scale.
New screenprint 'Acid Reflux', brings Carl's 'Neon-Geometry' (or 'Neometry') crashing into the rave era with a beautifully produced screenprint available in six low edition colorways.
