Kind of new to collecting so maybe this is somewhat premature, but shouldn't a gig poster have a theme, such as the band, the city they're playin in or what the city is famous for? Clue me in; thanks.
ReplyDeleteDude, it's rock & roll there are no rules, stop being a such a square. haha You're thinking a little to literally. If you look back at the history of gigposters what they were trying to do was get your attention with a killer image. Now that they have you looking at the poster you can check out the details and see who is playing where and maybe you will go. Gigposters used to by put up all over town on telephone poles in record store windows, they were advertising for the show. Hope that helps and feel free to ask anything else.
