Godmachine Sweet Leaf Print for Flood Gallery Black Sabbath Show World Premier Exclusive

Opening this Thursday July 25 in London England, The Flood Gallery presents the Black Sabbath Art Show. They had 7 artists create prints based on Black Sabbath songs. It is my great pleasure to reveal exclusively the print by Godmachine titled Sweet Leaf. This was the song that coined the phrase "Sweet Leaf" as slang for marijuana. The title of the song comes from a pack of Irish cigarettes Geezer Butler had called 'Sweet Afton' there was a slogan on the side which read 'It's the sweet leaf'. They thought that Sweet Leaf was a great description of marijuana, and the entire band wrote the song together. If you know the song the sound at the beginning is Tony Iommi coughing after inhaling marijuana smoke.

The other artists and prints are as follows
Richey Beckett | The Wizard
Glyn Smyth | Wall Of Sleep
Michael Cowell| Black Sabbath
Matt Valentine | N.I.B
Scott Move | War Pigs

The online sales for the Sabbath art prints will go live this Thursday 25th at 10:30 PM BST. which is 5:30pm EDT at  www.thefloodgallery.com more info about the show can be found there as well.

  1. Great print as always by Godmachine except for the breasts, kind of an eyesore. Why are they just blank? They don't even look like breasts.
