Grey Matter Art Poster Releases For New York Comic Con

Grey Matter Art will be exhibiting at this year's New York Comic Con (NYCC) at Booth # 3064 on October 5th-8th at the Javits Center. They are proud to be releasing several exclusive posters by some fantastic artists! They hope you like what you see; enjoy!

Grey Matter Art under license from Marvel, is proud to present new officially licensed, limited edition posters for some of Marvel's most classic characters. They are also releasing official "Captain America: Civil- War" and "Ant-Man" film posters. Also, under license from Miramax, they are proud to release "No Country for Old Men." 2000 AD: 40 Years of Thrillpower Vice Press Print Releases

To celebrate the 2000 AD 40 Years of Thrillpower Festival, Vice Press will be releasing a series of new limited edition screen prints by both classic 2000 AD artists and some of the best artists in pop culture today.

All of these prints and others will be released at the 2000 AD 40 Years of Thrill Power Festival held in London this Saturday, the 11th of Feb, with remaining copies going on sale via the Vice Press website (www.Vice-Press.com) on Monday the 13th of Feb at 6pm UK time which is 1pm EST.

Jeff Boyes & Chris Weston Army of Darkness Posters Release Details

Skuzzles had been quite for a while but they got another killer release this week. Skuzzles recently teamed up with MGM Studios to release two beautiful designs for the cult classic film Army of Darkness featuring cult icon Bruce Campbell as Ash--Hail to the king, baby! To pay tribute to Army of Darkness, they called upon veteran artists Chris Weston (UK) and Jeff Boyes (Canada) to offer two completely unique illustrations in a variety of colors.

Here's a little bit from Jeff Boyes regarding his artwork for Army of Darkness:

"Army of Darkness is a quite the film to try and portray in a print! My main focus was always going to Ash, but I wanted to incorporate some elements from the movie without diving into a full-on collage. I ended up using the metal from the edge of the pit as a divider between Ash and the evil. The rest worked itself out from there. I also feel the colours helped punch Ash out from the detailed (and evil) background. DL Screenprinting helped my vision come to life with their amazing tone-on-tone work as well as their metallic inks. Thanks to Skuzzles and DL Screenprinting for their work on these! Hyped for you guys to see them in person!"

The Descent Movie Poster by Chris Weston

5 Reel Film have a new screening coming up on October 27 and this time its the movie The Descent. I'll be honest I know nothing about the movie, but this poster by Chris Weston is badass.
