The seventh print in The Dark City Gallery British Cinema Series is for Ken Loach's 1969 British masterpiece 'Kes'. A film about Billy Casper, a 15-year-old working class boy bullied at school and ignored and abused at home. Billy finally finds a positive purpose to his unhappy existence when he tames and trains his pet kestrel falcon.
Artist Nick Rhodes has created a stunning design faithfully capturing the ecstasy and passion Billy felt when flying Kes, (his pet kestrel).
