Kimberly Austin Interviews EMEK in New York, May 2011 for the program RockBookShow.com. Cool interview, the part where Emek talks about drawing after dinner reminded me of a similar scene years ago. Back in 2005 after the poster show at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland everyone went out to dinner. So I'm sitting there before we got our food and everyone is drawing (tables had butcher paper on them) or doing something. Emek ended up making a little palm tree origami figure out of a napkin or something. I was just in awe of everyone and what they were doing. It was a special moment in time to see everyone doing what they love, I felt very lucky to be part of it.
