Joey Feldman The Gift Art Print Release

Joey Feldman’s going big in 2020, and this Wednesday, Bottleneck Gallery are releasing the second print in his large canvas abstract expressionism series, “The Gift”! THey’ve also got some news about Joey’s next solo art show.

“The Gift” is Joey’s descent into a completely different form of art abstraction. Joey loves working large, and the new large canvas series provides the perfect venue for intensely personal, and awesomely large work!

Joey Feldman Plasma Protectors Art Print Release

This Thursday, Bottleneck Gallery are teaming up with Joey Feldman to release a charity print benefiting the righteously wonderful David Lynch Foundation (DLF) of Los Angeles.

BNG are as big of fans of David Lynch’s work in television and movies as they are of his charity organization. As per their website, the DLF “helps to prevent and eradicate the all-pervasive epidemic of trauma and toxic stress among at-risk populations through promoting widespread implementation of the evidence-based Transcendental Meditation (TM) program in order to improve their health, cognitive capabilities and performance in life…We focus our efforts on underserved inner-city students; veterans with PTSD and their families; people in recovery from substance abuse disorder and women and children who are survivors of violence and abuse."

Joey’s print features a chaotically colorful nebula of critters known as phagocytes. These critter cells come out while the body is in a deep state or rest during the practice of Transcendental Meditation and go to work by protecting the body and feeding on bacteria and plaque throughout.

Joey Feldman Ptolemy Gallery Show Bottleneck

Life is about creation and destruction. The juxtaposition of discovery and revelation is critical to one’s success and awareness of self. It is with this in mind that LA based artist Joey Feldman invades NYC and Bottleneck Gallery to present for our viewing pleasure his upcoming show, Ptolemy.

Feldman’s eclectic style and emotional renderings demonstrate an artist’s journey of self-discovery in a truly unique presentation of his work. Much like Claudius Ptolemy presented his monumental arrangement of 48 Constellations with the Earth being at the center of his universe, Feldman presents us with 48 original works with his life at the focus. The 48 panels in full glory represent his journey; his origins and exploration of existence. Light to darkness, and for better or worse Joey shows us an incredibly personal and autobiographical arrangement of pieces.

Attendees should prepare themselves for a full range of emotional and intellectual stimulation. If you’ve ever wondered what it is like to be a fly on the wall in the world of Joey Feldman; this is the show for you. In addition to the 48 panels, there will be show specific prints and variants available to purchase. Each panel was photographed and digitally sewn together to make two sets of gorgeous prints.

Joey will be in attendance for folks to pick his brains and see what makes him tick. Plus, he will be around to doodle prints! The exhibition opens Friday, April 26th from 7P - 9P eastern. Admission and drinks are FREE.

Joey Feldman Grateful Dead Posters Release

Bottleneck Gallery's Grateful Dead Artist Series of officially licensed prints keeps on rocking with Joey Feldman this week!

Joey’s first print, “Uncle Sam Wants You”, is an ode to one of the Grateful Dead’s team of mascots, the Uncle Sam Skeleton. Joey’s rendition of the Dead icon features the Skeletal Sam in his well-known pose, all filtered through Joey’s gonzo art style.

Joey’s second print, “Heady Skull”, is an explosive re-imagining of the Dead’s lightning bolt skull icon. Joey did a great job paying respect to the band’s classic imagery, while adding his own unique spin on the skull.

Joey Feldman’s latest batch of prints features his interpretation of an iconic piece of art history, as well as another creative creature!

Joey’s Mudhoney gig poster and Another Scream art print pay homage to a cornerstone of art history, Edvard Munch’s The Scream. Joey reinterpreted Munch’s expressionist masterpiece in his own frenetic and figurative style, and I think the image is a great meshing of art history and modern art.

Joey also created a gig poster for Spafford, which contains a fun creature Voltron made out of a handful of critters!

Joey Feldman Purple Jerry Art Print Release

Coming this Friday (11-02-2018) at 10AM PDT/1pm EDT in the Joey Feldman online store (store.joeyfeldman.com) he will be offering his third and final portrait of legendary guitarist Jerry Garcia.

According to Joey:

"I wanted to really do something special with this so I got together with my printer and the results are fantastic! My printer did a fantastic job with the transparent inks building up from hot pink/magenta to the final purples on the print."

“Purple Jerry” is an 11 color silk screen print on 12 x 16” heavyweight coventry rag paper with deckled edges. Jerry's sunglasses have a coat of UV varnish with purple opalescent sparkles for effect.

Joey Feldman Metallica State College Print Release

Ok so there is one poster on here today that is not NIN. Joey Feldman designed his first poster for Metallica and the concert at State College. Now if someone's style fits NIN it's Joey's for sure. So if someone from LiveNation is reading this have Joey do the posters for the 2 Mexico shows.
