This piece (the first Trevor Young print released by 1xRUN) was part of Lyric 3 at Inner State Gallery, a musically themed group exhibition curated by legendary Detroit artist Glenn Barr. Gathering over 50 artists from around the globe, Barr had one simple request: Each piece of art must be 12 x 12 inches, paying homage to the timeless beauty that can fit on the cover of a vinyl record.
"For this painting I was influenced by 'Across the Great Divide' by The Band. The song is a beautiful history lesson and a optimistic story about a family considering moving across the country. I updated the imagery to reflect a modern era crossing." - Trevor Young
