Avone & Matt Siren Electric Mayhem Prints

No comments:

Avone and Matt Siren return to 1xRUN today to stir up a little Electric Mayhem with their new print release that will be available in 3 colorways.

"Matt and I first worked together on some pieces for a collaborative show "Street Language" at Woodward gallery back in 2007/08 and have collaborated a few time since then.

This piece was part of a theme Matt and I were building on a few years ago but hadn’t finalized until now. Essentially we both wanted to share some of our favorite television eras which broadcast a lot of pop culture dating back from the 50's through the 80's and come up with a consistent series, this being one of a few." - Avone

Avone Build & Destroy Print Release Today

No comments:

Avone returns to 1xRUN today with his new print Build & Destroy. And no that is not Miley.

While at Candamil we were preparing for a show at Wynwood so I wanted to execute something big and major. Pretty much everything was organic and just fell into place. Christian Vargas shot Jana Wirth and we wanted to use it as part of the composition and from there it was all "happy little accidents"." - Avone

"To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Wu-Tang, I am releasing a print that will benefit a The Children's Literacy Program out of Staten Island, where the Wu-Tang originated. The yellow print is an image of their first album cover and the black print is Julia Fox, who I have been using in pieces since I started my art" AVONE

aka DestroyRebuild (Destroy&RebuildNY;), AVONE was once considered NYCs most wanted street artist. His modus operandi depends on a cautious degree of exposure - especially in light of past events - and is difficult to depict via articles or the scant tweet here and there. We'll simply let him be identified through his visual statements. We sell prints after all, we aren't detectives ;)

Exclusive World Premiere AVONE Print release today from 1xRun Silver on Greene

No comments:

AVONE was at 323 Gallery this past weekend for the opening of The Future is Now Pt. 2 Brooklyn Meets Detroit with Kimyon Huggins and Ellis G. The Inside the Rock Poster Frame Street Team was there to check out AVONE's exclusive print as he tagged them and now you get to see it first.

A noted urban artist with an almost preternatural instinct for provocation, he intends to bring both fresh works to 323East AND (with his Big Apple colleagues) create on-the-spot pieces. AKA DestroyRebuild (Destroy&RebuildNY), AVONE was once considered NYC most wanted street artist. His modus operandi depends on a cautious degree of exposure - especially in light of past arrest for graffiti and time spent in Rikers Island for his art form. Recently completing a 16' x 34' retro decade mural made to look like the side of one of those “Post no Bills” construction sites one sees as they traverse throughout Manhattan. This mural was created at Bar 89 in SOHO, NY.

All the originals from the show will be for sale on the 323 Gallery site today.

Also today 1xRun will be releasing AVONE's new print titled Silver on Greene at a random time and you see it before anyone else only here.

The image is a door in NYC(Soho Manhattan to be exact) that is bombarded with graffiti...and the girl is a friend of AVONE's that appears in a lot of his work. The print is a hand pulled silk screen with Acrylic and he hand embellished them with a Kink marker (check the pictures above). The print measures 19 x 25 with an edition of only 30.

On sale today at a random time at 1xRun.com. A little birdy did mention it will be after 3pm EST.
