The avid photographer, he's been creating screenprinted miniprints of his Instagram photos shot on his iPhone. This time around, all of the photos are of buildings in Minneapolis. Houses, shacks, skyscrapers, they're all here and all help tell the story of his great city.

The third in Ben LaFond's (you know the guy that prints all of Aaron Horkey's Posters) series of screenprinted Instagram photos finds him aiming his iPhone lens at insects of all sorts. These tiny, but highly detailed prints are super nice and are much nicer to look at than actual insects, I think.

By now, you should know that Burlesque of North America's Ben LaFond is not only a fine screenprinter, but also a fine photographer. If you've been to a rock or rap show in Minneapolis in the last few years, you've probably seen a hatted / camera'ed / beareded / tattoed figure snapping pics and that was probably him.
Anyways, Ben has done something very cool here - taken the best of his pics from his iPhone Instagram camera app and converted them into 4.5" square screenprinted art prints entitled "A Combination Of The Two: Part One."
All 9 photos are signed and numbered and come packaged in a test print obi strip with a signed and numbered enveloped.

Ben LaFond Master Printer (he works at Burlesque and Aaron Horkeys favorite printer) and photographer is releasing a book. This past November, "The Beard" hit the road, jumping in the van with the entire Doomtree crew and cruising cross country as they rapped and rapped and rapped to hundreds and thousands of rap fans and then hop back in their rap van.
Ben LaFond has been shooting live concert photos for the better part of the last two years and has compiled a screenprinted booklet of his finest live Doomtree photos. Each cover is printed in a test print style, so no two books are exactly alike. Originally available only at the merch table on the Wings & Teeth tour, Ben's book will be on sale through the Burlesque online store.
