Aaron Draplin's Philadelphia Freedom Print on sale details

No comments:

This Thursday at 2:00pm Central, Burlesque of North America will be releasing the latest print from Aaron Draplin, a dedication to all of the visual inspiration from the great American city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Aaron assembled all of his favorite logos, musicians, landmarks, icons, and nuggets from Philadelphia’s rich history and fit them all together into this gorgeous poster. Originally released at Aaron’s September 28th lecture (sermon?) at Philly’s First Unitarian Church, you will soon be able to score a copy of this sweet poster. BoNA screenprinted this badboy in four colors including bright metallic gold ink which shines brighter than the liberty bell, brighter than Rocky’s championship belt, brighter than the cheez whiz on your Pat’s and/or Geno’s cheesesteak.

Signed and numbered edition of 300 prints.

AARON DRAPLIN'S MINNESOTA: HUNTING SEASON EDITION

No comments:

Burlesque of North America are back with a third edition of one of their most popular prints. Autumn is just about here, so Aaron Draplin came back to pay homage to Minnesota in bright blaze orange hunting colors! Don't let your computer monitor fool you, that orange ink is eyeball-burning, hunter-deflecting fluorescent orange! Maybe the best colorway of this bad boy they've done.

Edition of 175 prints, signed and numbered by Mr. Draplin when he dropped by their studio earlier this month.

AARON DRAPLIN'S WINTER IN MINNESOTA PRINT

No comments:

In October 2010, Burlesque North America hosted graphic design icon Aaron Draplin at CO Exhibitions, where he installed and opened his "Thanks MPLS" show - a collection of design projects he's worked on since leaving Minneapolis in 2000. His Minnesota map print sold exceptionally well and we've now created a winter-themed edition. The design is exactly the same as the Autumn 2010 print, but we've exchanged the Fall foliage colors for icy winter blues.
