Flatstock 50 in Chicago Pictures

This weekend Flatstock 50 is happening in Chicago during the Pitchfork Music Festival. Lots of artists selling some great posters will be there until around 10pm local time Sunday night. Put your cursor over the image to see the artist name.

Flatstock 41 in Seattle at Bumbershoot Pictures

Flatstock 41 is in full swing this weekend at the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle and the Inside the Rock Poster Street Team is bringing you the pictures. Flatstock is happening Saturday-Monday inside Bumbershoot at the Armory and you do need tickets for Bumbershoot to get in.

Thousand Hills Cattle Poster by Mike Davis

As part of Chowgirls Catering's FOOD & BEV poster show, Mike Davis was paired up with Thousand Hills Cattle, a farm in Cannon Falls MN producing grass-fed beef. This poster was designed to promote their lovely and delicious line of products and to adorn the walls of your kitchen or butcher shop. This print is on display at Chowgirls Parlor throughout September alongside several other posters designed by some of BoNA's favorite Minneapolis postermakers!

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this print will go to Open Arms of Minnesota, helping bring food to those in need.

Phish Poster for August 25th Atlanta by Mike Davis On Sale Details

Burlesque of North America were recently asked by the folks from Phish to design and screenprint a poster for the band's August 25th performance at Aaron's Amphitheatre in Atlanta GA. Mike Davis put together this surreal landscape in a faraway land filled with ropes, tunnels, steps, bridges, holes, and ladders all leading up to a giant maze.
This is a 19 x 25" four color screenprint on acid-free, archival Cougar brand Natural paper. It's a signed and numbered edition of 800 prints and we will have our own small stack of them available for sale today, August 28th at 2:00pm Central time.

John Baizley's Kvelertak art print

This is the big one! Next Tuesday, July 3 2012, Burlesque of North America will be releasing John Baizley's highly-anticipated Kvelertak art print! Named after the Norwegian metal group, this is a 14-color screenprint based on one of Baizley's watercolor paintings for the band (their name translates to CHOKEHOLD in English).

"Now That's Paper" Burlesque of North America Exhibit at Amplified Art this weekend

 Amplified Art is holding the opening reception for their month-long solo exhibit of "Now That's Paper" the art of Burlesque of North America this Saturday, April 14 at 7pm. The show will include gig posters, art pieces, test prints, as well as installation pieces that Burlesque founders Mike Davis and Wes Winship are creating at Amplified Art. The artists will also be in attendance, talking art and spinning tunes.

"We couldn't be happier to have Burlesque in for a solo show. Their design style, not to mention their quality of screen prints, have made them one of the top design houses in the industry – so handing the gallery over to them was a no-brainer!" said Ryan Miller, owner of Amplified Art. The exhibit runs from Saturday through May 11, so if you're close to Raleigh, it's a definitely worth a stop!

Amplified Art will be posting all remaining pieces after the opening weekend to their store on Monday, April 15.
