James Eads Alabama Shakes London Posters Release

James Eads has had an incredible year and finishes it off strong with a diptych of Alabama Shakes posters.

"Girls and Sound" is a 24" x 36" four color screenprint on Rainbow Holographic Foil Paper. The original poster was for the two night run in London on November 17th and 18th and was sliced down the middle. This AP edition includes the only copies of the full uncut diptych. Prints are hand signed and numbered in a limited AP edition of 55. The entire run was printed on foil, there are no regular variants.

"Girls and Sound" is inspired by the classic story of Medusa, Pegasus and Poseidon set in an urban London MC Escher-esque scene.

The poster will be on sale this Thursday December 10th at 4PM PST at www.jamesreadsmerch.com

The Alabama Shakes poster is an edition of 250 signed & numbered and are 3 color hand screenprinted by Barry

Barry based this poster off of the Alabama Shakes song "Hold On". Also inspired by the old Amblin movies of the 80's

Posters on sale at the shows and he will have his artist copies on sale this weekend on his site.

Barry has done like 3 posters for Walk The Moon in the last year.

They have a song called Aquaman, but their target audience is mainly teenage girls, so why not have a school of fish in the shape of a hand that is holding a girl underwater?
