Ana Bagayan Young Greys Print

No comments:

Ana Bagayan has a cute new print release from 1xRUN titled Young Greys. Are you an X-Files fan ? DO you want to believe ?

The inspiration for this piece came from the stories I’ve listened to about telepathic communication with ET’s at UFO crash sites. A few people have spoken about feeling love and empathy for (and from) the ETs. Two interesting people to listen to are Jonathan Weygand and Clifford Stone, both were on site at different UFO crashes and communicated with injured beings from the craft.

I created the term Futurealism in 2012 to describe my newer work. It is based on the idea that perception creates reality. I wanted to create a positive perception of contact with extra-terrestrials and aliens. This was one of my earlier ET themed paintings from 2012 and I have been working with this theme since." - Ana Bagayan

Ana Bagayan Spirit Of The Fox Print Release Details

No comments:

Ana Bagayan returns to 1xRUN with new print titled Spirit Of The Fox and a few original drawings for sale today.

"The Spirit of the Fox was created for the Born Free USA fundraiser show at Thinkspace gallery last year that helped benefit endangered species. This was one of those pieces that just built itself up from drawing to painting. I started sketching without any intentions and it turned into this. The fox has always been one of my spirit animals. I chose this particular animal because it looks like a fox, but I painted from a picture of an endangered Ethiopian wolf.

Although this original painting was sold at the show, I did do a few brand new sketches for 1xRUN collectors that are available here." - Ana Bagayan

Spirit Of The Fox and the original drawings go on sale today at NOON EST at 1xRUN.com

Ana Bagayan Convergence Of Alternate Realities Prints

No comments:

1xRUN are excited to welcome back Ana Bagayan for her 4th RUN with them  as she returns with the hand-embellished Convergence of Alternate Realities. For this RUN, Ana has presented us with two versions, a standard and a inverted variant edition. Each print will be hand-embellished with an individual constellation unique to each print.

"I created the piece partially in inversion so that the E.T. figure feels like a familiar dream. I wanted to recreate what it feels like to wake up from an exciting dream but to only grasp incoherent bits and pieces of it because the conscious mind is unable to decipher the nonlinear distorted timeline of events. I didn't know exactly what this dream was going to be about until the image started to form in color. While I think the relationship between the characters in the piece is all open to interpretation, the idea is that this is a place that exists in one's subconscious where they can access and experience multiple parallel dimensions at once. I named this particular place Germia, a word that my mind repeated during the construction of the piece." - Ana Bagayan

Ana Bagayan Undersea Moon Print on sale today

No comments:

The painting was inspired by my love for undersea creatures, my interest in the ancient city of Atlantis, and my obsession with space. I love combining elements from earth with space to create fictional alien planets from alternate realities to show that anything is possible and everything is connected. Paintings of that size usually take me one to two weeks. Although there was a lot of detailing, I went through it very quickly because it was fun. The painting part is the easiest, as most of my energy goes into sketching out ideas until I’m happy with the piece. While I love the painting process, the most exciting part is coming up with ideas." - Ana Bagayan

Ana Bagayan ST4R CH1LD Print On Sale Today

No comments:

"This image is the first of a series of Alien and Hybrid beings that I've been developing this year. I document them all in my Alien Book, which is sketchbook that I keep with me at all times, including during sleep, so I can document all ideas relating to Extraterrestrial civilizations.

I first started exploring this theme while I was working on my solo show at Thinkspace Gallery. I watch and listen to various things while I paint and my interests greatly influence my work because it is all an extension of my being.

One day, my husband brought a documentary he had downloaded called The Experiencers, which documented hypnosis sessions of people living in different parts of the world who have claimed to have been abducted. What I loved about this film specifically was that the 'experiences' these people were having were mostly positive, rather than the sensationalized version we see in most movies.

From that point, I have been exploring and researching and imagining what some of these lifeforms might look like and what planets they might inhabit. In addition, this lead me to a new outlook on existence and a transformation within myself that is manifesting into my artwork. " - Ana Bagayan

Ana Bagayan was born in the capital of Armenia; Yerevan, and moved to the United States when she was six years old. In Burbank California, she frolicked amongst tall grasses and dancing bears until she entered Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where she earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration. Ana’s work has been received internationally and has been featured in such publications as Rolling Stone, Spin, GQ and various others.
Here's what she had to say about this piece: "While taking photos of a friend's daughter, Bela, I accidentally photographed her backlit in between poses. The shot captured her fragile innocence and ethereal quality and I combined the portrait of her with the nocturnal moths in contrast which represent impending danger, but are also a symbol of faith and intuition. Bela and the moths compliment each other in their other worldliness."

The Mire Art Print by Ana Bagayan

No comments:

From Ana:

I wanted to make a special print for the holidays and I decided to make it look like a real drawing! The Mire is printed on the same Rives BFK paper that I use for my drawings. It is archival and makes great printing paper. I am only printing and edition of 10 because of the delicate nature of the paper and the difficulty of getting a perfect print each time. Each print will also be hand embellished with tiny mosquitos, no two will be the same. You can purchase the print at my store.

Limited Edition Print
Image size 15 x 19 inches & 3/4 inch border.
Signed and numbered on the bottom right of image.

Prints: “Silence” & Prey by Ana Bagayan

No comments:

Ana Bagayan has just released a print based on the amazing Silence of the Lambs inspired painting she exhibited in the Crazy 4 Cult 3D show this past month. “Silence” is 15 x 20″ on 17 x 22″ Hahnemuhle fine art paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 50 for $75.
This was easily one of the top paintings in the show, it’s a beautiful image and I’m really glad she made it into a print.

Order the print here: Ana Bagayan Store

Ana also has another print up for grabs, this one can be purchased from the Lunch Bunch site, a project “of two friends that get together once a week to create home-made meal packages to pass out to the homeless of Los Angeles”. The print is 6.5 by 9″ with 1″ border on Hahnemuhle paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 100 for only $25. The great part is that 100% of the proceeds go to the Lunch Bunch project. Each order will feed 12 people! So you get a nice print, and to help people at the same time.
