Michael Loeb Only God Forgives Print from Metro Orange Art

No comments:

Metro Orange Art has great new print release from German artist Michael Loeb titled Only God Forgives.

Michael Loeb is a German artist living and creating works of art in Koblenz Germany. Growing up Michael spent lots of his time learning how to paint from his grandfather. As time progressed he developed his own style and refined his technique. Michael's works are in collections throughout Germany as well as internationally. The themes of "Pop Art" and "Automobile" have always been a potent combination of my exhibitions, which also includes several automotive companies, as well as sponsors of Formula 1.
The print is hand signed and numbered, 16x22 on German Etching, limited edition of 50.

Drew Morrison Brokenland Print Release at Metro Orange Art

No comments:

Metro Orange Art has a new print from Drew Morrison on sale. Illustrator Drew Morrison is fascinated with the pace of urban decay, and more importantly the way it's allowed to happen in so many places. In his experience city dwellers are upset by it, but rarely have the resources or enough concern to do anything about it.

This is the primary theme of Brokenland, the comic narrative Drew has been crafting the past year. The main character in this story is Meeso, a small and timid mollusk-like creature, whose pragmatic side is balanced by a neurotic clumsiness. This print is a first look into the gritty setting of Brokenland.

Look for the first issue of Brokenland this spring.

The  "Brokenland" print is 16x20 , edition of 100 on 220gsm archival paper, hand signed and numbered in pencil.

Drew Morrison Willy Wonka Print Release from Metro Orange Art

No comments:

New York based Illustrator Drew Morrison is back with a chocolatey new print based on the 1971 cult classic, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory for Metro Orange Art. This film is a favorite of Drew's, and Wonka's terrifying boat trip scene has stuck with him since childhood.

"It's the kind of scene that can't be understood while you're seeing it for the first time...the bizarre meanings have to be sifted through afterward. Wonka's singing is nothing short of deranged, and Gene Wilder's didactic portrayal of a kindly candy maker with a dark side is haunting.", says Drew.

Outrageously colored and sized at 16" x 20", this print is ready to frame and available with Wonka in traditional costume, or a creepy choco-statue variant. Both prints are editions of 50 that come signed by Drew.

Gianluca Mattia Ossa & Darth Lady Prints From Metro Orange Art

No comments:

Metro Orange Art sent these German Etching prints on a long flight to Italy for signing and are now back in the USA and ready for shipping. This edition is printed on German Etching Museum Rag, limited to only 50 pieces, hand numbered and signed in pencil. Each print comes embossed by Gianluca's custom designed chop mark.

Darth Lady and Ossa  are hand signed in pencil with a small edition of only 50 prints.  Embossed with a custom design from Gianluca. Sized at 14.5 " x 19 " inches

Gianluca Mattia was born in Bari (Italy) in 1975. Qualified in the Institute of Art with qualifications of Art's Master and architect's designer and interior decoration. After he has specialized through different professional courses, like expert in digital painting and graphic design 2d/3d. In 2003 he designed the pin up genre in the contemporary style. Its first Pin up Card Collection was available in 2006.

I adore illustration, the colours, my artworks are drawn using a digital pen on software 2d and 3d, but my principal tool is_my mind. I spent most of my time drawing, trying to represent my emotions, to express a part of me. I personalize and I distort the bodies with small lives and forms out of the reality, dream and sketch with strong colours, that complete my form of expression together with the forms. The bandaids, the wounds and the tears, at times present in my sketches, I am not anything else other than a metaphor of the sad events of the life and the man's instinct to cover, to disguise such wounds to the eyes of the world". -Gianluca Mattia

Drew Morrison Heisenberg Print On Sale

1 comment:

With the cinematic end of Walter White behind us, tribute is payed to the one who knocks, and all of his dubious accomplishments. Spoilers be damned, you'd have to be living in a cultural bubble to not know the fate of this epic character by now. With printed obituaries and even a funeral ceremony in his honor, it's clear that HEISENBERG now belongs to the ages.

Illustrator Drew Morrison delivers this knock-out portrait, sized at 16" x 20" and printed on archival matte paper. Limited edition of 200, signed by the artist.

Twelve Monkeys & Batman Prints by Nikita Kaun

No comments:

Metro Orange Art has a couple more new prints from Russian artist Nikita Kaun. Batman and 12 Monkeys are both 16 x 24 with an edition of 300.

Here is what Nikita said about the design of the prints:

Batman
Idea of artwork was born before cooperation with Metro Orange Art gallery, villains from Nolans trilogy, in the style of comic books, which together form a figure of Dark Knight - a nice idea. Like that it became possible to implement.

12 monkeys Good movie
