Skurktur Maskinisten Art Print Release

The guys from Skurtur have another killer release this week. It's an art print, titled Maskinisten. The title of the print is in Norwegian and translates as “The Machinist”.

It's a 2 color screen print on 25 x 68 cm, 300 g/m² stock. Regular edition of 70. Price 1000 NOK (approx. 105€ / 120$)

Skurktur Noir Art Print

The guys from Skurktur have released an insane looking art print titled Noir. Be sure to click on the image to enlarge it to see it in it's full glory.

I asked the Skurktur about the image:

The scenery is set to a dark and gloomy urban environment. The image reflects on a narrative tension between man and beast, and portrays the moment just before the climax of confrontation.

The illustration was created as a part of the album artwork for the LP “Bringing Guns to a Knife Fight” by Norwegian hardcore band The Hex, and is now for the first time made available as a screen print.

The German artist duo known as Skurktur have a new gig poster for Wolves In The Throne Room and their concert in Berlin.

These are 2 color screen prints on 22 x 66 cm, 300 g/m² stock. Regular edition of 60. Price 350 NOK (approx. 37€ / 44$) 

The posters were created for the band’s show on November 19 at Bi Nuu in Berlin, Germany. The design is inspired by the track "Born From the Serpent's Eye" from the band’s latest record “Thrice Woven”.

Skurktur Der Weg Einer Freiheit Berlin Poster

Skurktur is a two man artist team with one German and one Norwegian. They have a new gig poster for the German black metal band Der Weg Einer Freiheit.

These are 2 color screen prints on 42 x 59,4 cm, 300 g/m² stock. Regular edition of 50. Price 350 NOK (approx. 37€ / 44$) 

The posters were created for the band’s live show on October 14 at Lido in Berlin, Germany. The design was inspired by the novel "Steppenwolf" by Hermann Hesse, of which the concept of the lyrics on the band’s latest album “Finisterre” is based on.

Skurktur Transcendence Print On Sale

 

Skurktur is a design studio based in Trondheim, Norway. The studio has been working within the field of illustration and graphic design since 2009, and are doing both personal and client based work. Most of the studio’s illustration based work is drawn with pen and ink. Portfolio: www.skurktur.com

«Transcendence» is the second print offered through their webshop. The illustration for the print was originally created for the album cover of Pelbo’s second album release from 2011 titled «Days of Transcendence».
