Mike Amann of The BLDG Benefit

Mike Amann of the BLDG is battling stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer. A few of friends are putting together a benefit tonight, Thursday, September 19, for him at Arnold's Bar & Grill in Cincinnati. If you are in the Cincinnati area please think about taking the time to attend.

Posters & Prayers is throwing a benefit for Mike Amann which will feature the prints of artists, designers, illustrators and photographers in mystery tubes for a $20 donation. There will also be a raffle that will include prints from Shepard Fairey, Ron English, as well as original artwork and autographed Cincinnati Reds items (Mike is a huge Reds fan). All proceeds from art sales and 20 percent of the dinner and drink sales will assist the Amann family in offsetting medical expenses. The event will also feature a special brew available the night of named in Mikes honor.

The BLDG + Roman Titus Smokestack II Print

The BLDG will be releasing its second print from photographer, Roman Titus. This is the second in a series of 3 smokestack prints from Roman that we will be releasing in the coming months.

This print focuses more on the starkness of the architecture of a dilapidated building contrasted against the subtleties of a twilight sky.

This print is entitled, "Smokestack II" It is a 19"x25", 2 color hand pulled screen print with Metallic Silver. It's an edition of 30 on French Paper. It goes on sale on www.BLDGrefuge.com at 11a.m. on Thursday, February 18th for $30.

The BLDG + Roman Titus Print

The BLDG will be releasing its first print with photographer, Roman Titus. Roman has worked as a music and portrait photographer internationally, making photos of trend-setting and legendary musicians including: Hot Hot Heat, Spoon, David Bazan, Mark Kozelek, Hank III, Bad Veins, Islands and many others.
