Like Me' - Part 1 Print by Ben H On Sale Now

No comments:

The latest of a forthcoming set in which Ben H is taking a hard look at how dependency to social media can affect human behavior. Fantastically satirical in it's content, 'Like Me' Part 1 conjures up some key questions bout faith and is as ever bold, serious, comical and to the point all in one. When I opened the email from him and saw the image I laughed, this is a brilliant piece of work. With Facebook's IPO this week it could not come at a better time.

Ben H House of Fun print on sale now

No comments:

House of Fun is the final and most poignant art release from Ben H to mark the end of 2011. Another year of global political theater that has most certainly effected many but arguably changed a whole lot less.

In the spirit of the above, the image depicts the House Of Commons and the representative M.P.s as grown babies each carrying out their own comical yet sordid activities. There's so much going on here that it's worth having a good long stare! Each character is has it's own role which shows Ben H's tenacity as a draughtsman and his ability to create a very strong narrative. There's even Mr V for Vendetta hiding in amongst the rows. A nod to Ben's admiration for Alan Moore.

This set is limited to a run of 36 prints split into sets of 12. Each set has a slightly different colored finish.

Ben H Carrying The Game Print on sale

No comments:

Numerous personal print requests for this recent piece have led artist Ben H to produce an exclusive one off set of "Carrying The Game".

The painting centers around the idea of a Western utopia as a sick greed led game that would be nowhere without the support of the "non-westernized" nations. It asks the question, who is supporting who? The central figure is a Kenyan Girl carrying an over sized, possibly oil filled container. She is not the weaker in this scenario, she represents strength, a symbol of power herself. But is not the somewhat grotesque over sized battle ship real power?

The Original work has recently been approached by New York Galleries and will also feature in a Art Auction in aid of a major international charity this December.

Limited to 25 beautiful prints. All will numbered, signed and dated by the Artist, in a different colored ink. The artist signature is uniquely located on each print and holds the official Beats In My Brush stamp.

The Size is A2
H - 23.4" / W - 16.5"

The art of London based artist Ben H (aka Ben Waist) Beats In My Brush – “Painting life with a beat”

No comments:

Seems as though some readers of the blog told Ben H he should contact me and he did to let me check out his work and it's really good stuff.

I know you are asking who is this Ben H dude ? Well ....Ben H is a London based artist who previously has adopted multiple guises.. including DJ Waist, Mono, Mr Fidget and Dub man. Some totally serious, others the result of wide speculation as to his real identity. Or course possibly a long term identity crisis. Whatever the case maybe… Beats In My Brush is the very real culmination of the last decade whilst undertaking the ultimate artistic soul searching journey. A country boy turned Londoner, color blind, musically mature, politically minded, hot sauce enthusiast, partial to a touch of Kung fu, a dislike for M.P.’s and Trash TV are… just some facts about Ben H that may help you to understand his “Chameleon like” artistic style. His creations are channeled by the collective experiences of holding various occupations in the last decade.

Among other prints he has created Ben started a series called Politricks. With everything going on right now in the world these are spot on. He has released Obama's Hope, Liars Tower and The M.P. Boyz. Each one is limited to 80 exclusive prints. All will be numbered, signed and dated by the Artist.
