Queens of the Stone Age killed it last Saturday night in Los Angeles at the Gibson and Martin Ontiveros & Kii Arens made a poster fitting for the occasion. Kii said hey you want to give one of these away to your readers, of course I said yes. So you my faithful readers get two giveaways this week for the first time since Christmas when I gave away something every day for two weeks.
This badass poster sold out at the show which does not come as surprise. It is 18 x 24 inches and is Fluorescent Ink Lithograph with added screened Black Velvet flock. Any where it's black that is where the Velvet flock is on the poster. The picture above is an actual picture of the poster, yes it glows that much. Kii got a good laugh when I asked for an actual picture of the poster and he sent that and I responded with no an actual picture not a digital image and he said that is what the poster looks like in real life.
Now go to the top of the post above the picture and click on comments or scroll down (depends on how you see this post) to leave a comment about your favorite QOTSA song to have a chance at winning the posters. Don't worry if your comment does not appear immediately I have to approve them before they are published. I will use the random number generator to pick a winner. Entries are limited to ONE PER PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD. Please leave your name with the comment, comments without names will not be accepted. Entries will be accepted until Midnight PDT Saturday August 24 that's almost two days to enter with the winner announced on Sunday.
BIG THANK YOU to Kii Arens for providing the poster for the giveaway. If you dont want to wait to see if you win it he has them for sale on his website LaLaLandPosters.com

Into the Fade has been my fav QOTSA song for a while, in large part to Mark Lanegan. The new album definitely has some new favorites. The Vampyre of Time and Memory and If I Had a Tail are both instant classics. And Kii Arens puts out some quality work.

ReplyDeleteFor years my son has always played "songs for the deaf". I got sick of it and asked if they made a different album. I heard "turnin on the screw" and I have been hooked since. Hope they do stop in the NW as well ....
