This past Saturday, Jay Ryan had hosted the eighth Screenprinting Workshop at The Bird Machine. Ten folks came in from all over, including Virginia, and they worked together printing these new prints, called Family Crest. Four screens on heavy French Muscletone stock, the printing went really well, and they ended up with an edition of 98.
AVAILABLE AT NOON Chicago Time, today, Monday Jan 20.
Older sold out prints and posters Monday as well
The Bird Machine offer annual subscriptions to Jay's work. They have a couple unsold subscription spots from the last few years, and this week they opened the old tubes and loaded most of those individual prints onto the site. This means that for a little bit, they'll have most of the work from 2011-2013 available again on the site, while supplies last. Some of the prices are the same as they were when they were released, and some of the prices reflect the low end of the current secondary market. Take a browse through the temporarily bloated store and see if anything grabs you.
AVAILABLE AT 12:00 NOON CHICAGO TIME, MONDAY, JAN 20.
