Even though his under another lock down in snowy Scotland Alan Campbell is still creating. Alan's newest print is the 4th one in his Haruki Murakami series and is inspired by the book “The
Wind-Up Bird Chronicle’’. Alan’s interpretive poster is a sublime
tribute to the original story, and pairs perfectly with the other three from 2014’s “Kafka on the
shore”, 2018’s “Norwegian wood” and 2020’s “After Dark”
Says Alan:
At this point I’ve got a 3 other pieces that I can use as a starting point; I’d like to keep the series connected, so I edited together images of all the pieces next to each other and a file with the images overlaid on top of each other, looking for the commonality between the pieces and where it made sense to break from those.Alan has a full write on the design process over on his website www.alancampbellart.com/new-blog/2020/11/16/the-wind-up-bird-chronicle
