Armando Chainsawhands Stay Safe Canvas Originals

It's been awhile since Armando Chainsawhands released a print, but in these uncertain and unprecedented times, He's been staying home and staying safe, working on commissions and small batches of originals/hand-painted multiples. The first batch of originals are for sale RIGHT NOW and are titled Stay Safe and are spray paint stencils in a variety of colors on 9" x 12" x 1.5" deep splined gallery profile canvas.

Armando Chainsawhands The Kiss Originals and HPMs

It's been awhile since Armando Chainsawhands released a print, as he been working on commissions and originals and small batches of originals/hand-painted multiples. The first batch of originals/HPMs are for sale RIGHT NOW and are titled The Kiss and are spray paint stencils on a spray painted background, using Montana Glitter Effect and Montana Holographic Glitter Effect spray paint on the stenciled parts, so they really pop!

The paper originals are 8.5" x 11" on Canson 185 gsm fine art paper with Montana Glitter Effect spray paint on the stenciled part, giving it a glossy, translucent look with silver-colored glitter particles for a sparkle effect. And there are 6-7 different colors to chose from.

The wood originals are 9" x 12" by 1.5" deep on basswood panel cradled with a pine frame with Montana Holographic Glitter Effect spray paint, giving it a glossy, translucent rainbow of color depending on the angle of view due to the holographic glitter particles.

Armando Chainsawhands Patriot HPM Print Release

For his latest print, Armando Chainsawhands wanted to capture the quick and dirty energy of rebellion, using taped reverse stencils and spray paint to create test sprays that he scanned into Photoshop to create the layers for this two color, full bleed screen print on 100lb white Cougar cover stock, meant to evoke a flag in distress. Armando Chainsawhands Scream Original Art

Armando Chainsawhands released the Scream stencils on canvas last year ( See it HERE) but he always wanted to do a version on cardboard. So he decided it was a good time to break out the spray paint and make up a few very small editions on hand torn cardboard with different colors in the mask.

Armando Chainsawhands Sweethearts Print Release

Armando Chainsawhands has been busy moving into a new studio space. After getting settled he decided it would be a good time to cut some new stencils and get a little painting done, so this week he is going to release a small run of spray paint stencils on paper titled Sweethearts.

Armando Chainsawhands If I See One More Kid With a Bandana Over His Face, I'm Going to Scream Canvas

During Armando Chainsawhands winter hibernation, when it seemed like every other street art piece featured a kid with a bandana mask over his face or some similar vandal he decided to add his own twist to it. This past weekend,  he decided it was a good time to break out the spray paint and make up a small edition of mini canvases. He thought it would be a good way to get some affordable, hand-painted original artwork into the hands of some people- and it seemed like appropriate timing given Dolk's latest bandana release.

Armando Chainsawhands I Want To Believe Poster Release

Armando Chainsawhands has new screen print that he is gonna be releasing next Tuesday. I love the statement it makes for all the crap going on right. I always enjoy a little political fueled message in art. Plus it is good to see an artist take a stand and express it in their work. People in Brazil are rioting over bus fares going up 10 cents, our government is capturing everything we do and most people do nothing.

I Want To Believe is a 18" x 24" print on French Parchtone Relic Gold in a signed/numbered edition of 50.

LOVE and MONEY print release from Armando Chainsawhands

Armando Chainsawhands has a cool little screen print set he did recently that he will be releasing this Friday. It's a 12" x 12" mini screen print set on white cover stock, featuring the De Beers logo.

The print is signed and numbered and available in a number of small editions. Black is an edition of 25, Pink is an edition of 10, Red is an edition of 10, Blue is an edition of 10, and Metallic Silver is an edition of 5. The prints are on white paper- there is no border. Made to easily fit in a standard LP record frame. There is also a Blackout version of both the black and metallic silver, which is printed on Mr French Black Licorice paper, each an edition of 3. Fancy! But please don't lick the paper

Identity Crisis and Killer Instinct by Armando Chainsawhands on sale details

Armando Chainsawhands will be releasing two new art prints on Thursday, September 29 at 12 noon Central Daylight Time. He will be releasing his two mini prints, Identity Crisis and Killer Instinct- each design a screen print on a vintage 1960s Superman Action Comics page, complete with yellowed paper and staple holes.

Each design is $15 and from a limited edition of 50 prints. A small number of sets will be available for $20.
